2. chagrin (n) p.143 line 7: mortification, sadness, disagreement. Ex: Mum looked at the mess in Tim’s bedroom with a lot of chagrin.
3. flu (n) p.148 line 9: an indeterminate, general sickness. Ex: Mary isn’t coming to school because she has a flu.
4. spry (adj) p.149 line 13: an adjective used to describe an old person whom is in health and whom take cure of him. Ex: His Grandmother is very spry: every day she goes to the market by bicycle.
5. gloat (v) p.152 line 17: to feel good about something you have already done. Gloating (adj). Ex: she is gloating over her good marks.
6. mope (v) p.152 line 17: to be dump, sad. Ex: after he broke up with his girlfriend, he is mope.
